A heat pump is a mechanism that moves heat from a low-temperature area to a high-temperature area. In air conditioners equipped with heat pumps, heating is achieved by releasing heat collected from the outdoor air into the indoor space via a refrigerant, while cooling is done by releasing heat collected from the indoor air to the outdoor space. By adopting a two-stage compressor type "scroll rotary compressor" and an "intermediate pressure gas injection structure," significant improvements in performance and efficiency are realized.
